This Friday, July 9, the best young wines of the Premis Vinari 2021 were announced in Vilafranca del Penedès, a contest that this year opens this second awards ceremony in summer in addition to the traditional one in autumn. In addition, for the first time the contest has also included different categories of awards in the field of wine tourism. Once again, Freixenet has been successful in this competition thanks to the quality of its wine tourism activities.
Freixenet's online wine tourism proposal "Tast & Casa" has received a special mention for Best use of new technologies in wine tourism activities. Adapting to the context of the pandemic, we promote three different modalities of live virtual tasting: gastronomic cavas, mini & Iberian Cavas and large European sparkling wines. The activity proposes to meet with friends, colleagues or family and enjoy an online pairing where you can discover the world of bubbles in a safe, personalized and individual way. Our wine educators connect in a live videoconference at the agreed time to guide and energize the tasting, and make recommendations for the service, the pairing and the enjoyment of Cavas. Companies and individuals from the Netherlands, UK, Ireland, Germany, the United States, among other countries, have enjoyed this experience that adds value to our products and brings the Freixenet brand closer to the consumer.
