How to get here
Caves Freixenet are located right in the heart of the Penedés
region, in the town of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. We’re easy to reach both by motorway and train.
- By motorway:
From motorways AP-7 or AP-2, take Exit 27: Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. It’s 40 km from Barcelona and 70 km from Tarragona. Once you leave the motorway exit, please turn right where it is indicated “Sant Sadurni Sud/Estació”.
- RENFE is offering the Freixetren ticket: a combined ticket that includes the return train journey and a traditional visit to the Freixenet caves for 11 euros. This ticket is available at any of the Rodalies de Catalunya stations, as well as the stations of Torredembarra, Salou, Cambrils, Vila-Seca, Tarragona and Reus. Sant Sadurní d´Anoia station is on line R4 of the Rodalies network, 42 minutes from the centre of Barcelona. The entrance to the caves is just 50 metres from the train station
